"God's Promise"

Hi, Mommy and Daddy thought it would be a good idea for me to have my own web site. This way family and friends can visit with me any time they want. Be sure to visit often cause I'm growing really fast.

Gift of life!

May 22, 2005

Well, things ahve been interesting around here the last few months. Erin was diagnose with a new liver disease, Auto Immune hepatitis. Hopefully it will be managebale with medication. I think it will. She is a real trooper. She has gotten used to lab draws and never cries during them. Which I think is so much more heartbreaking then if she cried. The fact that she has had to learn how to endure. What a champ.

She is involved in many toddelr activities at the YMCA and she really enjoys them. She is so sweet and loves to play with her friends.

The downside of being immunosuppressed is she just came down with Streptoccocus pneumoniae. This is a bacterial infection in the blood that can lead to menengitis or sepsis. Fortunately, it didn't. But it makes me question my judgement of letting her be involved in toddler activities. Is it worth it? This infection brewed from a simple cold. I'm sure you know how many colds float around toddler classes.

I have a new website for Erin:

http://www.caringbridge.org/nj/erin

I will update the caringbridge site more often so come take a look.

Did you know checking the organ donor box on your drivers license is not enough to become an organ donor? You HAVE to tell your family of your wishes. They will be the ones to decide, so please let them know. Please don't take your organs to heaven, heaven knows we need them here! Thank You!
